Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly on the lookout for another abode. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reside in a lavish mansion in Montecito, but reports claim the royal couple are eyeing a new property in Malibu.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry bought their first home in Montecito after walking out of Buckingham Palace in 2020. Meghan has talked about how much her current house means to her, previously gushing it is her ‘healing’ place. While their mansion is nestled in a celebrity neighborhood, they are reportedly interested in buying a far more secluded and private paradise.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s new home could be in Malibu, a new report suggests. It’s believed the Duke and Duchess viewed a breathtaking estate recently over the holiday weekend.

TMZ reveals the new mansion spans around six acres. It includes a guard house at the front of the property along with a huge pool. The foundation of the main house is laid for a 10,000-square-foot area.

The most striking feature of their potential new property is its location. It sits in a very secluded and private area but very close to the beach, allowing the royal couple a perfect piece of paradise in Malibu.

The Malibu property could be pricier than their LA mansion

The Malibu property is insanely lavish, and the asking price of it is currently $8 million. But if Harry and Meghan end up taking it, the construction and other costs could total up to another estimated $10 million. This would make it pricier than their current LA mansion which they bought for $14.7 million.

While nothing is confirmed about the property, the location of the Malibu paradise also makes it perfect for Meghan and Harry.

It would keep their Hollywood work commutable while still being far enough from the mainland to be intruded on by unnecessary cameras.
