Snoop Dogg's 24-year-old daughter showered with love after suffering 'severe' stroke

Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus has been sent flowers, cards and gifts after being rushed to the hospital following a ‘severe’ stroke. She’s just 24 years old.

The rapper’s only daughter shared she had suffered a stroke on Instagram Stories yesterday. Cori posted a photo from what looked like a hospital room with words written on the picture. She is the only daughter of Snoop Dogg and wife Shante Broadus. The duo have been married since 1997 and they also share sons Corde and Cordell. The Drop It Like It’s Hot star also shares son Julian with Laurie Holmond.

Snoop Dogg’s daughter ‘broke down crying’

The youngster told followers the health scare happened in the morning.

She wrote on Instagram: “I had a severe stroke this AM. I started breaking down crying when they told me.

“Like I’m only 24 what did i do in my past to deserve all of this?”

Later, she updated fans with photos from her hospital bed with a large plushie or cuddly toy. She then posted another photo showing a large bouquet of flowers and a card sending her well-wishes.

The card said: “To Cori B (God’s Strongest Warrior), from It (Itali Miller) and Mandy (Amanda Williams)”

Cori is the youngest child of Snoop Dogg and wife Shante. Older brother Corde is 29, and Cordell is two years her senior.

Snoop nor Shante have spoken out about her dash to the hospital. Shante did post a cryptic quote on her account yesterday, where it says Life – Live Isn’t F*****g Easy.

Cori herself hasn’t told followers much more.

Cori was diagnosed with lupus at six years old

She’s previously spoken out about her health, telling People last September she was diagnosed with lupus as a child, aged six.

Lupus is a disease where the body’s immune system attacks the person’s own organs and tissues. Other celebrities have spoken about dealing with the condition too, such as Selena Gomez.

Cori told the outlet she’s recently stopped taking her prescribed medication to try alternative and natural forms of healing.

She said: “I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago. I’m just doing everything natural, all types of herbs, sea moss, teas.

“I started working out, drinking lots of water. So now I think my body’s like, OK, this is the new program and she’s getting used to it”.

‘Just because my dad is famous doesn’t mean I don’t get sad’

She has also spoken up about mental health in the past, detailing a suicide attempt in 2021.

“The last few weeks my mental has not been so great at one point I tried to end my life but you & my family really give me a purpose to live & helped me realize Iife is much more than materialistic things & you gotta just keep pushing through the bulls***t,” Cori wrote on Instagram in May 2021.

“Just because my dad is who he is doesn’t mean I don’t get sad, that doesn’t mean that I don’t want things or that I don’t feel a way. I don’t know how to explain it.

“I’ve always been sad. I’ve always been depressed. I feel like I’ve been through a lot.”
